  1. I feel counseling is a great thing if done by the right person. Sometimes the wrong person puts themselves in the wrong position to help. Not everyone is cut out for the job which could lead to making the problem worse. Counseling should not be a job instead it should be a privilege and a honor you are helping people for the betterment of man not your bank account.

  2. This video is nice, having actual people, including an expert/doctor, talk about counseling and medication for treating depression. All the facts and details in it really give you an idea of the scale of depression. With a few different experts giving advice and information, the video gets more credibility and information on the subject, treating depression. In addition, it shows that medication is not the only option, and should not be. In fact, a combination of medication and counseling may be more beneficial in treating depression. The different ways of self-counseling said in the video are nice and can really help.

  3. I agree with the video. I think it is important that before a person decides to take medications to treat their depression, they must know what it does, how it will help, and its side effects. I agree with the video that counseling is important to bring the person to be in touch with their own mind and thoughts. I also agree that religion can play a big part in helping the victim and giving support to the person's decision of helping their state of mind. I also find it interesting that the video explained depression as part of the mind abusing the other part of the mind. I think that this is a great analogy to help the viewers understand the issues and problems that depressed people live through.
